Week 3: The new IPhone 15 is it worth the upgrade?
The new iPhone 15 was just launched on the 22nd of September. And while there wasn't a significant new feature, there were many little improvements in this generation compared to the last. So now people are wondering if they should upgrade to the new iPhone, and I'm here to tell you it depends. The iPhone 15 has many new features, such as an improved camera, an all-new action button, better software, and an improved titanium skeleton.
Let's start with the camera; the iPhone 15 Pros contains a camera that is equivalent to having seven different lenses with you at all times, meaning you will have the right one for every occasion. The camera also contains new software that allows you to apply effects such as portrait mode after taking a photo.
Now for the design of the phone. The iPhone 15 Pro has a titanium skeleton, making it more resistant to drops and scratches. The lightning port is also now a USB-C port, allowing for data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps. Finally, with the addition of the action button, which replaced the traditional silent mode toggle, there is a whole new level of customizability for the phone, allowing you to do things such as access your camera quickly, turn on your flashlight, or work as the typical silent mode switch of the older iPhone generations.
So, with all these features, is it worth the upgrade? Well, that depends on you, the buyer. But if you have an iPhone 13 or newer, I don't recommend upgrading, as the money spent is not worth the upgrades you're getting. But if you have an iPhone older than that, it might be good to delve deeper into the topic to see if it's right for you. So, are you going to be upgrading to the new iPhone?

I found this really interesting because I was doing a lot of research prior to the launch of the new iphone on whether or not purchasing the new iphone made sense. I think the new features are very cool and the design may be nice but I think the updates are very minor and not worth the purchase. I will most definitely not be upgrading and will wait for a more physical and technologically advanced update.
